CLINOIN GEL Composition and Description:
CLINOIN GEL contains Clindamycin Phosphate (12%) and Tretinoin (0025%) Clindamycin Phosphate is an antibiotic that combats bacterial infections Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A that helps skin renewal and reduces acne
Indications CLINOIN GEL:
It is used topically to treat acne vulgaris when comedones, papules, and pustules are present in patients aged 12 and older Official guidance on the appropriate use of antibacterial agents and acne treatment should be considered
Dosage & Administration:
- Apply a pea sized amount to the affected areas once daily at bedtime
- Do not exceed 12 weeks of continuous use without evaluation
- Improvement may take several weeks
- Not recommended for children under 12 and individuals over 65
- Specific guidelines are advisable for patients with renal or hepatic impairment
Contraindications:
- Avoid contact with eyes, eyelids, lips, and nostrils
- Not recommended during pregnancy or for women planning pregnancy
- Hypersensitivity to the active substances Clindamycin and Tretinoin
- Conditions like regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, skin cancer history, and more
Adverse Effects CLINOIN GEL:
- Possible side effects include acne, dry skin, redness, increased sebum production, itching, and more
- Use caution with eye irritation and gastrointestinal symptoms
- Sunburn risk increases; use SPF and protective clothing during treatment
Warnings & Precautions:
- Avoid contact with sensitive areas and the eyes
- Sun exposure should be limited; use sunscreen and protective clothing
- Do not use cosmetics simultaneously
- Be cautious with other medications, especially erythromycin, metronidazole, and warfarin
Fertility, Pregnancy, and Lactation:
Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding Use contraception during treatment and for one month after discontinuation
Overdosage:
In the case of overdosage, seek symptomatic treatment
